CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING ON GENDER AND SOCIAL INCLUSION IN GALESHWOR

LEADS Nepal organized a training on Gender and Social Inclusion in Galeshwor, Myagdi. The event was attended by 28 carer leaders and staff from LEADS Nepal, focusing on enhancing their understanding of gender equality, social inclusion, and capacity development.

Facilitated by Himali Gurung and Dr. Padam Raj Shrestha, Executive Director of LEADS Nepal, the training focused on strategies to promote equality and empower marginalized groups.

The training used interactive methods such as games and practical exercises, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in addressing issues like gender-based violence, social inclusion, and community engagement.

LEADS Nepal continues to support vulnerable communities across Myagdi, Baglung, and Nawalpur, working to improve mental health care and caregivers' livelihoods through vocational training, home rebuilding, and income-generation initiatives.
