April 12, 2024

Ginger holds high demand in local and international markets. To harness its economic potential, the training equipped farmers with practical skills and modern techniques to enhance yield and quality.

Sigana, in Baglung district, was selected for its suitability for ginger cultivation and the active involvement of local farmers.

Led by Agricultural Officer Mrs. Manisha Gautam, the sessions focused on advanced cultivation methods to enhance productivity and income. The program emphasized sustainable practices, teaching farmers how to improve yields, maintain soil health, and promote environmental balance.

With these new skills, participants are expected to see tangible improvements in their living standards, contributing to the broader development of their communities.
